White Bean & Garlic Dip

This easy and delicious recipe is perfect for unexpected guests and snacking.  Serve with crackers or cut veggies. 

 

  • 2 T olive oil

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced minced

  • 16 oz can white beans, drained and rinsed

  • ¼ cup water

  • 1 tsp.dried rosemary (or more to taste)

 

Place oil, garlic and rosemary in a skillet.  Heat the pan until ingredients start to sizzle.  Add the beans and water.  As beans cook, mash them with a wooden spoon or potato masher.  Cook until the mixture is a loose spread consistency -it will thicken as it cools..  You can serve immediatley or refrigerate.
