Grilled Nectarines
This easy grilled recipe is from Jill.

4 Nectarines (firm, but ripe)

8 oz. tub Tofutti Better Than Cream Cheese (or substitute vegan yogurt)

3 oz. walnuts, finely chopped, plus additional for garnish
-
2 tsp. pure maple syrup

2 tsp. walnut oil
Preheat the grill to medium high.
Mix the Tofutti, chopped nuts and syrup in a bowl and set aside.
Cut the nectarines in half and remove the pit. Brush the nectarines halves (both sides) with oil and grill cut side down with the lid closed for 5 minutes. Turn the nectarines and grill for an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
Remove the fruit from the grill and top each one evenly with the Tofutti/nut mixture – about 1 heaping tablespoon per half. Garnish with additional chopped nuts if desired.
