Fried Bananas

  • 2 to 3 bananas, peeled

  • juice from 2 limes

Heat a nonstick skillet over high heat.   While pan is heating , slice the bananas in 1 inch chunks and then cut each chunk in half lengthwise.  Before adding the bananas, make sure the pan is hot by adding a drop or two of water – if the water sizzles, the pan is ready.

Place the bananas into the pan.  After you have added the last piece to the pan, begin flipping the pieces, starting with the first piece you put in the pan.  When the bananas are golden brown, remove them from the pan and drizzle the lime juice on top.
