Ann's Apple Crisp

A tasty recipe from our friends at Vegan Life Colorado.

 

  • 5 cups peeled, sliced organic apples (about 5 or 6 medium apples)

  • ¾ cup brown sugar (packed)

  • ½ cup organic whole wheat flour

  • ½ cup quick oats

  • ¾ tsp. cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp. allspice

  • dash of nutmeg

  • 1/3 cup Earth Balance Margarine, cut into pieces

 

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place apples evenly in an oil sprayed 8x8 or 9x9 inch baking pan. Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly. Sprinkle evenly over apples. Bake 30 minutes or until apples are tender and top is brown and crispy. Double the recipe for a 9 x 13 crisp. Serve warm with Vita Soy Original Soy Milk.
